Mark Amaral

Mark Amaral enters his seventh season as the associate head coach at Pepperdine University. Amaral, a veteran coach with 18 years of experience at the D1 level most recently held the same title at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Additionally Amaral has coached at Colorado State and UC Santa Barbara.

Bryant Moore

Bryant Moore enters his seventh season as an assistant coach (2nd as associate head coach) at Pepperdine University. Moore came to Pepperdine after a successful five-year stint on the staff of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers where he oversaw player development, advance scouting and video breakdown. Moore played collegiately at Texas Tech University.

John Impelman

John Impelman enters his fifth season as an assistant coach and ninth overall with Pepperdine. He was on staff formerly as Director of Operations after previously serving as the Graduate Manager from 2009-2011. Impelman also worked as the Director of Operations for Double Pump Inc., which runs some of the premier club basketball tournaments and teams in the nation.

Jon Pastorek

Jon Pastorek enters his fifth season as the Director of Basketball Operations and sixth overall at Pepperdine, previously serving as the Graduate Manager. Pastorek graduated from UCSB in 2011 capping off a successful 4-year college-playing career (2 years at San Diego State) that resulted in 2 NIT and 2 NCAA Tournament appearances. He recently completed a Masters from Pepperdine in Education & Psychology.




Sam Stapleton

Sam Stapleton enters his second season as the Graduate Manager / Video Coordinator at Pepperdine. Stapleton graduated from Occidental College in 2013 where he played point guard for four years. Most recently he served two seasons as an assistant coach at West Los Angeles College and also coached multiple years with Rockfish, a well respected Los Angeles club program.
